Just ordered it! I've never used a disc but I recently discovered using pads and tampons are very very toxic. I saw so many people talking about how terrible their periods were while using tampons and even getting sick. I don't want that. I've tried the diva cup and didn't like it. So fingers crossed a disc will be the winner

This was super helpful. I always have trouble securing my disc past the pubic bone. It’s like that last mm wants to stick out slightly. So maybe I just need to try a smaller disc or stick with menstrual cups.

How do I get my innards to not push against the disc as I remove? It seems my muscles push the bottom of the disc up causing the contents to over flow as I'm removing..... Enough to make me go back to tampons!

I think I may have a super tight vag. Because I feel it stretching at the back when I try to fit the disc there. The disc often springs out of place. When I used cups they sometimes collapsed on me. The stiffer cups are also very uncomfortable as they press my urethra. I'll keep trying to find a smaller disc as I think it's most feasible option

I’m going on holiday in a a couple days, I want to try tampons because when I’m on holiday I will want to go in the pool, I come on my period when I’m there but I want to try tampons when I’m at home and see if I like them but idk since I heard it can be painful to take it out when your not on your period. Does anyone have any advice for what to do

I have been using a cup for years and I am also a heavy flow girl who does have to take care of my cup in public. I bring a second clean cup in a ziplock and just swap it out. I clean the used one and wrap it in a wet wipe and put in a zip lock so I can clean it at home.

I use both pads and tampons. I don’t think I’ll ever try a menstrual cup as I am scared about it not having a strong, but I can imagine how nice it would be to have. For those wondering, tampons don’t hurt! I used to be soooo scared about using them. Then I tried it, and I didn’t put it in far enough. I could feel it, but it wasn’t painful. Then I put one in the next day, and it was amazing! I only use tampons for swimming as I find pads more comfortable tho. ❤

Im sorry if this sounds a bit weird but i jsut can't discuss this with my mom! So i used a small mirror to see where to put the tampon but then when i sat in a squat position, the vagina opens up a bit right? I saw like a small thing just in between of the vagina and now i cant even get my tampon in. I saw other videos but I think only i have it cus its preventing me to not put the tampon. Other are just doing it so easily. Please help me i really want to use tampons. People at school make fun of me for the odour and i dont want to be in some wet diaper.
